Family Life

Hey hi! Jamie Grace here. Welcome to Family Life — a membership part of page, just for families, looking for resources on education and fun experiences! You may know about my music or YouTube channel, but you may not know that I was homeschooled from Kindergarten (age 3) until 12th grade (16 years old) and later attended Point University. I graduate in 2012, at age 20, with a BS in Child & Youth Development and a minor in Children’s Ministry. In my teens and 20s, I led the children’s and youth ministries at my home church. I was spend months away from tour teaching and late nights on the tour bus creating lesson plans for other teachers. It may seem quite obvious, but I have been counting down the days until I could homeschool a little kiddo of my own and those days are finally here!

One of the many lessons I learned from my mom, that continues to resonate with me today, is the importance of homeschooling. Whether kitchen-table-lesson-planning or investing in your little one’s academics as they attend a public or private school, homeschooling is something that all parents should do. No matter where our kids go to school, play sports or make friends, home is where we can choose to be intentional with them more than anywhere else.

Right now, our little toddler has many academic adventures that cater to her strength and extend grace toward her learning curves, both in our home and with my parents. But ultimately, our homeschooling journey is about character, empowerment and intention on the human we are so blessed to raise. By joining the Family Life Members Area here on my website, you’ll get unlimited access to my Pre-K and Kindergarten lesson plans, posters, worksheets and more resources.
